Instructions for abstract submission

The submission of oral contributions to the 17th World Congress on Computational Mechanics (WCCM) and the 10th European Congress on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering (ECCOMAS 2026) is now open.

Authors are invited to submit individual contributions to any of the 386 Mini-Symposia or 18 Special Technical Sessions hosted by the Congress by selecting the respective session from the drop-down menu when uploading their abstract by January 12, 2026.

Abstracts must be prepared using the MS Word or LaTeX template provided below and should be limited to one page, including figures and references.

They should briefly outline the main ideas and results, describe the topic and the current state of the art (including up to 10 references), identify the knowledge gaps or the scientific and engineering questions addressed, summarize the methodology, results, and conclusions, and highlight the overall significance of the study. The name of the presenting author must be underlined.

Each speaker is allowed to present only one contribution.
(An exception applies to Mini-Symposia in Section 3000: "Special Tracks: Teaching, Learning and Open-Source Software", where a second presentation is permitted.)

Only PDF files will be accepted for abstract submission.
