Airbus, DLR and ONERA will give an introduction and overview of their collaborative and common CFD solver “CODA”. In this overview talk we will address the following aspects: - Background: Why do we need CODA? - Collaboration between Airbus, DLR & ONERA - Technical Overview of CODA: Architecture and Ingredients - Current real life applications of CODA in Airbus - Future challenges in Airbus The future challenges will focus on the development of future aircraft configurations. Specific challenges in CODA will be addressed in the following talks of this STS.
