Female Researchers Chapter Event
Celebrating 10 years of technical contribution, community engagement, and support for women in computational mechanics.
Join us to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of IACM Female Researchers Chapter, sponsored by Elsevier, with a special evening dedicated to research, recognition, mentoring, and community building.
Programme Overview
“Celebrating 10 Years of the IACM Female Researchers Chapter: A Conversation with Global Voices”
Awards for junior female researchers
The celebration will open with a welcome from the FRC, IACM, Elsevier, and the local organizing
committee.
International Panel Discussion featuring a conversation with leading global
voices in computational mechanics.
The session will bring together researchers from different countries and career paths to share insights, experiences, and perspectives on research leadership, career development, and the role of women in advancing the field.
Lecturers:
Mayu Muramatsu
Associate Professor

The event will also include awards for best presentations by junior female researchers, including graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career faculty. Further details and information in this link
Following the talks, Q&A session, and awards presentations, attendees are warmly invited to continue the conversation during a networking reception sponsored by Elsevier. This informal gathering will provide an opportunity to connect with colleagues, speakers, mentors, and peers from the international computational mechanics community.
Attendance requires prior confirmation by 20 June. The registration link will be shared shortly by the Conference Secretariat.
