Time
Each Regular Presentation will last 15 minutes, Keynote Lectures 30 minutes, and Plenary Lectures 45 minutes. These times include questions and answers.
Equipment
Each session room will be equipped with a screen, an LCD projector, and an HDMI connection. Presenters are required to
bring their own laptops to connect to the projector and deliver their presentations.
Please note that not all rooms will be equipped with a presentation clicker or laser pointer. We therefore recommend
that presenters bring their own if needed.
Presentation recommendations
- Rooms will be available before each session for connection tests.
- Please be in the room at least 15 minutes before your scheduled session.
- Because the conference is spread over different areas, please give yourself extra time to find the room.
- Check your presentation in advance.
- If you are using PowerPoint, we recommend you to adjust the slide size in Design->Page Setup menu and choose 16:9 ratio to ensure the compatibility.
- Keep a backup copy of your presentation on a USB drive or in the cloud.
Power Sockets and Plug Converters
The power supply in Germany operates at 230V and 50Hz. The common electrical sockets are types C and F. Plug type C has two round pins, while plug type F also has two round pins along with two grounding clips on the sides. You may need a power plug travel adapter to use your devices.
