Piezoelectric micromachined ultrasonic transducer (pMUT) arrays are a key technology for medical ultrasound imaging, but their increasing size and geometric complexity pose major computational challenges. This work combines Model Order Reduction with the Discontinuous Galerkin Spectral Element Method to simulate ultrasound imaging from nearly 12,000 pMUTs. Implemented in the SPEED high-order parallel framework, the proposed approach is efficient, scalable, and accurate, enabling large-scale pMUT array simulations.
