The numerical analysis technology Isogeometric Analysis (IGA) was introduced by Hughes et al. [1] in 2005. Shortly thereafter, first developments related to Isogeometric Shell and Solid finite Elements have been implemented to Ansys LS-DYNA, which is the industry-leading simulation software used for applications like drop test, impact, crash, occupant safety, and more. Over the years, the IGA technology in LS-DYNA has been successfully applied to large scale, full vehicle crash simulations [2]. With the increased usage of cast components and complex geometries in modern engineering design, the interest in structured Isogeometric Solids finite Elements grew significantly over the past few years. This led to additional developments in LS-DYNA and various numerical studies of this new technology [3,4,5]. This contribution will present an overview of the IGA technology available in LS-DYNA and showcase its performance in real-world industrial applications. REFERENCES [1] T.J.R. Hughes, J.A.
